The most effective and common mouse trap is the electrical one as it is easy to be used and kills the mouse effectively. Just follow these steps to set an electric mouse trap:
- Firstly, open the battery cover and insert the battery inside it. Most of these mouse traps originally comes with the batteries therefore you don’t need to worry about from where to get them.
- Now, you need to set bait for the mouse. There are some instructions to remember to set the bait. Firstly, wear gloves while doing it as the mouse will not come near the trap if it gets the scent of a human. Secondly, take the food that mice usually eat, so it can be cheese or things like peanut butter.
- After this, place the trap where you have often seen the mouse travelling. The best way is to place it somewhere in the hidden places because this is where usually the mice are found. So after placing it you need to turn the trap “ON” and a green light will indicate the confirmation.

How to set a wooden mouse trap?

- Pull the kill bar slowly and hang it backwards for a few seconds until you place the bait at the front side of the trap. Remember to put the bait which is most liked by the mice.
- Now, the clip for the kill bar you had placed backward before, is to be adjusted carefully with your thumb, as it can cause harm to your thumb.
- Then the same last step is left and that is to place the trap in the correct place. Remember to put that side in the exposure which contains the bait so that the mouse will be attracted more easily.

This is the easiest way to trap a mouse. For this you simply need to place glue and the mouse will get stick to it having no way to run away. This is a fun mouse catching trap as it can be effective for the mouse which is not able to be caught by any other way.

The purpose for using this trap is to can multiple traps at the same time. It is very effective to use if you have a great number of mice at your home and you want to get rid of them altogether. It can trap more than 10 mice at the same time and have the same glue property.
3). The Humane Trap:
If you are a soft hearted person and cannot see the animals getting killed, then you can surely use this mouse trap as it enables you to trap a mouse and release it without killing. However, you need to place them outside the house, catch them and then cage them and release them at a place far away from your house so that they won’t come back.
How to set up a guard mouse trap?
This is just another type of mouse trap. It has 2 settings:
- Firm setting = Easier to be set up but ■■■■■■ to catch.
