He had a long relationship with Jim Hutton, which started in 1985.
Freddie used to call him his husband.
Freddie stayed with him until his death.
He died in 2010 after Freddie’s death.
The point that needs to be noted is that Jim Hutton was also diagnosed with ■■■ in 1990. It is unclear whether Freddie got the illness from him or Hutton contracted the disease but was diagnosed later. But it makes Hutton the prime person who might be the reason for transferring disease to him.
