Types of Salads
Asian Salads are made of vegatables, fruits, grains and meat with Eggs. Only dried and powdered Spices are used with lemon juice or Vinegar. Asian Salads also have number of Types of Salads.
Asian Salads are made with raw food or some of Raw food like all other Salads which are eating Worldwide. Today I am going to describe Eastern Cuisine or Asian Cuisine of Salads with Asian Types of Salads.
Types of Salads
In Eastern Cuisine, Salads has Four main types.
Vegetable’s Salad
Fruit’s Salad
Grain’s Salad
Meat’s or Egg’s Salad
Vegetable’s Salad
In Eastern Cuisine, vegatable’s Salad has many variations. With only raw, uncooked Vegatables it is mostly called salad. But some kinds of vegatables salad are called Chaat with it’s main ingredient like Cucumber Chaat or Potato Chaat.

1.Kachumar
It has main three ingredients but some people use boiled Potatoes too. It is seasoned with salt and black pepper with lemon juice or vinegar. A most famous herb’s combination which is called Chaat Masala is mostly used in all kind’s of Chaats or Salads if one wants much Spicy. Every Chaat is served with Chaat Masala and people are sprinkled per taste.
For Kachumar Cucumber, Tomatoes and Onions are cut into small Squares then adds Salt, black pepper and lemon juice or vinger. Mix well and Kachumar is ready to serve. If one likes can add Boiled Potatoes.
2.Salad
It can be made of every vegatable which can be eaten raw or mix. Cut vegetables into very thin round shaped slices, now add salt. If you are using Onions, cut onions, sprinkle salt, slightly rub and rinse. Now add more vegatables raw and without adding salt or washing them. Now add more little bit salt as per taste, black pepper and lemon juice or vinger. Your Salad is ready. Fresh coriander and Chillies are added in shape of small, thin slices.
Kachaloo
It is made of boiled Potatoes. Boil the Potatoes, cut into squares, add red chillies, salt with lemon juice or Vinegar. But mostly Tartaric acid is used instead of vinegar or lemon juice. Kachaloo is ready. It is also called Aaloo Kachaloo or Potatoes Salad.
Cucumber Salad
It is very famous street Food, one can find it at every city in the season of Cucumber. Just peel off the Cucumber, cut Cocumber into round but half inches thick slices. Now add few salt, Chaat Masala and lemon juice. If lemon juice is not available, one can use vinegar but it tastes great with Lemon juice.
Potatoes Chaat
Boil the potatoes and cut into squares. Now add cut Tomatoes, onions and fresh Coriander and mint leaves. Mix well and sprinkle the Chaat Masala. Aaloo Chaat is ready.
Fruit’s Salad
It is also called Chaat with main Fruit’s name like Melon Chaat. Or with many fruits it is called Fruit’s Chaat. Most famous names are,

1.Fruit Chaat
It is mainly made with Apples, Guavas, Bananas and Oranges. Cut Guavas and Apples into small cubes and cut bananas into thin, round slices. Now squeeze Oranges and put juice into pan which you are using for making Chaat. Don’t throw the pulp of Oranges but add into juice. Now add suger, salt and black pepper with Chaat Masala. Add all Fruits, mix well and leave until Suger is melted. Fruit Chaat is ready.
All kinds of Chaat are following the recipe except Cream Chaat. Though Amrood and Melon are made with another recipe too. Amrood or Guavas and Melons are served with sprinkled Chaat Masala and salt only.
Cream Chaat
Cut Fruits of Your choice now Sugar and Cream added until all Fruits are covered. Mix well and leave until Suger is melted. Fruit Chat or Fruits Salad is ready.
Grains Salad
It is made of Grains. It is also Called Chaat with grain’s name like Lobia Chaat (bean Chaat). The Famous beans Chaat are,

Most recipes are followed the same recipe. Boiled Grain and then chopped onions and tomatoes with green chillies are added. Green Coriander and mint leaves are added with Chaat Masala. But some people are made Bean Salad and Corn Salad without vegatables too just adding Spices.
Meat’s and Egg’s Salad
It is made of Raw vegetables with cooked or boiled meat and Eggs. It is made of during Feasts and specially Muslim’s Feast Eid-ul-adha. Eggs are used with many vegetables, Fruits and Meat Salads as garnishing or topping. It’s most famous kinds are

Meat is boiled then raw Onions, green chillies, Tomatoes and fresh Coriander is added with Chaat Masala, a mixture of Cumin seeds, Dry Coriander and Mango Powder with many other spices.

It is made with only boneless meat cut into small pieces. It can be made with any kind of meat.
Summary
Salad is a very important and famous part of Asian or Eastern Cuisine. Types of Salads are of four kinds, Fruit Salad, Vegetables Salad, Grains Salad and Meat Salad. All have used same Spices powder which is called Chaat Masala. Lemon juice and Vinegar are almost must. Black pepper is also used with red pepper. Asian Salads are delicious and easy. Eating healthy Food with simplicity is part of Asian Cuisine or Asian Type of Salads.
