Joann Orders
It’s no cost! If you place your order by 3 p.m. (local time), you can pick it up at the curb or in the store the same day. Find out more about curbside delivery and in-store pickup.
Standard Delivery
In the table below, you can find information about standard delivery. For standard delivery, you can usually expect the package to arrive between 6 and 10 business days after the date you placed your order (business days are Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays).
When your order ships, you’ll get an email with information on how to track it. Please give your tracking information up to 5 business days. Some items that come directly from our suppliers may take longer and ship separately from the rest of your order.
The shipping charge includes the cost of labour and materials, as well as packaging and processing fees. It may be more than what JOANN actually paid its carrier to send the item(s) to you. In some states, sales tax may be added to the shipping cost if it applies.

Quick Shipping
Our customers who ship orders in the 48 contiguous United States are the only ones who can get express shipping. If you order by 11 a.m. ET on a business day, your order will be processed the same day and should arrive in 3 business days. Orders placed after 11 a.m. ET will be processed the next business day and should arrive in 4 business days. Not all items are eligible for Express delivery.
Shipping by Express Plus
Express Plus shipping is only available to customers who ship orders within the 48 states that touch each other. Express Plus orders placed before 11 a.m. ET on a business day will be processed the same day and should arrive in 2 business days. Orders placed after 11 a.m. ET will be processed the next business day and should arrive in 3 business days. Not all items can be shipped with Express Plus.
Handling Fee
All orders that ship items within the U.S. and U.S. Territories will have to pay a handling fee. The fee will be added automatically to the shipping and handling line in the shopping cart summary of your order.
Getting a Product
Orders are taken with the assumption that there is stock. We may not be able to ship the quantity you asked for if we don’t have enough in stock, but we will do our best to fill your whole order.
If your order includes something that is sold by the yard, like fabric, please know that we will do everything we can to give you one cut of fabric, but we may have to fill your order in more than one cut. You’ll get an email if the status of any of the items in your order changes. Please give any status changes up to 5 business days (Monday through Friday).
Shipping Between Countries
Because we work with eShopWorld, JOANN can ship to more than 50 countries. If you return something with the receipt, you’ll get your money back in the same way you paid for it.

If the item was bought with cash or a debit card that requires a PIN, the refund will also be given in cash. Checks can be mailed for refunds over $100.

When you use a JOANN gift card to pay for an order, you will get a new JOANN e-gift card as a refund.

Personal checks can only be returned up to $25 in cash.

You can send back things you bought online by mail if you use our Contact Us Form to get in touch with our Customer Care team. Select Return Item(s) under “My Question,” tell us your order number and what you want to return, and we’ll send you a return label right away. You can’t send back things you bought in a store by mail.
How We Give You Your Money Back?
As soon as we get the returned item and process it, we give you a refund for the cost of the item, less a $7.95 return shipping and handling fee. We’ll send you an email to let you know that we’re done with the return.
Refunds are given in the same way they were paid for, so keep in mind that it may take your credit card company up to 10 more business days to put the money back on your account. If the original way you paid was with a gift card, you will be sent a new one by email. Headboards with custom fabric or upholstery that were bought online cannot be returned.
JOANN+ Returns
We don’t take returns on our bulk items for JOANN+ orders because we want to give you the best prices up front. If there is a problem with your order that you need to fix, please contact a Bulk Order Specialist and we will be happy to help you.
Customizable Product Returns
Customizable items are made when you buy them, so if your order arrives broken or flawed, we’ll gladly replace it or give you a refund.
If that happens, which is rare, please contact us with your order number and a photo of the problem so we can fix it quickly.
We’re sorry, but you can’t return customised items for any other reason.

Refunds for In-Person Classes
It’s very easy to get a refund for in-person classes. You can change the date of your in-store class or ask for a refund without any trouble.
If you can’t make it to a class, click the “Reschedule Booking” link in your confirmation email to change it. You’ll be taken to a page with a “Reschedule” button. Click that button and choose your new class date and/or time from the dropdown.
If you can’t change the date of your class and would like a refund, please email customer service at customer.se.
Please be aware that service fees are never refundable, no matter what. We’re sorry about the trouble.
Note: We can look into the original purchase and limit or refuse refunds based on what we find. If you lose or damage a gift card or merchandise return card, you can’t get a new one. Gift cards and store credit/merchandise return cards can’t be exchanged for cash, unless a state law says otherwise.
