Baldia Town Branch: Traffic Training Institute Baldia Town, Saeedabad near Hub Chowki
Timings: 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Saturday | Friday 9:00am-12:30pm

Types of Driving License that you can Apply For
The driving license department Sindh is responsible for issuing the driving license and verifications in Karachi. As per the traffic laws announced by the Provincial Vehicle Ordinance, there are three types of visas for which the citizens can apply;
Learner’s License
The first and foremost thing that you need to do before getting behind the driving wheel is to get your leaner’s license issued. You can get this license after completing a simple and small registration form and paying a nominal amount of fee. The license has a validity of one year.
Fee: Motorcycle Pkr 50 | Car Pkr 100 | Combined Pkr 150
Requirement: 4 Passport-size photographs, copy of CNIC
Permanent Driving License
Once you’re done with the learning process of driving a manual car, you become eligible to apply for a permanent driving license. By acquiring this license, you sign up to be a responsible driver at all times and to follow all the traffic rules.
In order to get this license, you have to undergo with some tests to check your skills and knowledge about the driving procedure. First you would have to give a written test with some questions related to driving, after that an eyesight test is taken by the medical examiners, lastly you’re required to drive a car under the observation of a professional. International Driving License
If you have a permanent license and plan on taking a vacation or going abroad to study and want to drive your own vehicle, then you will have to apply for an international driving license which would make you eligible to drive even overseas.
Fee: Normal processing Pkr 500 | Urgent processing Pkr 1050
Requirements: Copy of Pakistani Driving Licenses, copy of valid passport and visa, copy of CNIC, proof of residency in Karachi
Driving License Renewal Fee
As we have already discussed the fee and procedure for registering all three types driving license. However, once your license gets expired you would have to get it renewed by the license office.
The renewal of a license for motorcycle starts from Pkr 50 and goes upto Pkr 660 depending upon the service you take.
The renewal of a license for a car starts from Pkr 100 and goes upto Pkr 1260 depending upon the service you take.
The renewal of a combined license starts from Pkr 150 and goes upto Pkr 1860 depending upon the service you take.
