Best home remedies for Oily hair

Home remedies for oily hair are the most beneficial way to get rid of the oily hairs problem. As you know oily scalp is the root of all problems like dandruff, itching, hair damages and in some cases massive hair fall. It also attracts more dirt than other hair types. Furthermore, it makes your hair greased that sticks them to each other which annoys more.

How I save my hairs to get greasy?

There are numerous ways to take care of your hairs and control oil production in the scalp I discussing some of them:

  1. Reduce Shampoo
The daily shampoo is not good for your hair health. It damages your hair as it contains chemicals so when you wash hairs daily with shampoo it scrapes the beneficial natural oil from your scalp so daily shampoo is not good for oily hairs also. It makes your hair break, dull, rough and frizzy. If you are using shampoo every day so try to use this after a day and if you are doing this already so do it after two or three days.
  2. Stop touching your hair
Touching your hairs again and again also makes your hair unhealthy. Besides, more you contact your hands to your hairs can produce more oil in your scalp. Pinning is the better way to get rid of it.
  3. Use herbs for washing hairs
You can use herbs in place of shampoo for washing your hair well. Like if you are living in very humid weather conditions or a working person so you have to skip the shampoo for your hairs safety. By using the good herbs you can get strengthen and lustre hairs. You can make your herbal hair rinse by adding 1-2 teaspoons of amla, nettle and orange or lime peel in a jug. Pour hot water over it, let it soak. Cover for 15 to 20 minutes then strain the liquid. Pour the herbs mixture on your hairs. Rest for 4 to 5 minutes then wash it with cool water to get good results. Similarly, you also can use rosemary, green tea, shikakai and some other useful herbs.
  4. Change pillow cover
Change your pillow cover once a week at least because if it is dirty or oily it can transfer dirt and extra oil to your hairs and face also. It harms you in different ways and also causes facial acne.
  5. Use lukewarm water
Hot water can absorb natural oils from your scalp and cause dryness. So our glands in scalp start producing extra oil fastly in an hour which results in the oily scalp and greasy hairs. Always use lukewarm water for washing your hairs, in the end, you can use cool water which helps to make your hair shiny.
  6. Use mild shampoo
Always use shampoo without any foaming agents as they are gentle on your scalp even if you have a habit of shampooing daily it helps full in that condition too.
Also, it keeps your scalp in balance like it doesn’t become much dry or greasy.

What should I eat to stop oily hairs?

By maintaining you’re diet you also get rid of oily hairs. If you increase the ratio of vitamin B in your diet it regulates the amount of sebum produced by sebaceous glands. Stop taking excessive carbs, refined sugar and oily foods, you can eat fish, lentils, lean meats, poultry, beans, and leafy green vegetables as these are rich in vitamin B.
