Xef4 Polar Or Nonpolar
Why is XeF4 non-polar but H2O polar? 3
Is XeF4 polarly related and is it not disproportionate because of the single electron in Xe? H2O has one electron in O and is disproportionate, which makes it polar.
I don't just think that XeF4 can be a lone companion and it can't be polar, but H20 can be a lone companion and it can be polar.
The conductor pair in H2O is not the one that makes it polar, but the direction of the polar bond. The reason XeF4 is non-polar is that every polar bond has an equal but opposite polar bond. There, two opposing XeF titles cancel each other out. XeF4 has a flat, square structure (imagine a square with fluorine in each corner and Xe in the middle). In the curved form of water there are only two closures, so no bond breaks its polarity and leaves one molecule with a different polarity.
