Worms In Ground Turkey
Should the turkey be like this? ۔
Today I made a turkey hamburger and when I saw the meat stirring I saw some of these powerful links in the meat. They bounce a little, but they don't break when I take them off. Most are E, but one is dark blue. what's this? I'm afraid it's a worm or a wound, but is it a normal part of the meat?
Thank you very much
This is what divides the muscle tissue or tendon that is intramuscular. Darker flesh, in particular, can have too much tendon if it is not carefully removed during milling. The dark blue layer is probably from Venus tissue. It is safe to eat, but it is not commonly found in ground beef and exhibits some carnage by a person. You will not buy ground beef from this supplier in the future.
I also noticed that I chose minced chicken for turkey.
