1 Check the wiring at the base. 2 If there are any loose, broken, or corroded wires, they should be cut, stripped and reattached to the terminal screws. 3 Install the thermostat housing plate. 4 Reconnect the power supply to the circuit breaker junction box.
Wall heater thermostat wiring
Unplug the current thermostat from the wall. Locate the wire that connects to the terminal marked "C" on the thermostat. If you have one, it's your cable and it's ready for general installation. In the area behind the thermostat, check to see if an electrician or plumber has plugged the power cord into the wall.
