Life of brotherhood and sisterhood. Welcome and thank you for visiting the Fellowship and Sorority (FSL) website at Texas State University. There are 30 fraternities and sororities which are supervised by the principal of the student secretariat.

To join, the fraternity and fraternity dean’s office requires students to participate in formal or informal recruitment and have a college or high school GPA of 2.5 to join a fraternity or fraternity. However, it is possible to place additional requirements on the chapters.
Texas Tech University’s fraternities and sororities were first established in 1952. After more than 65 years, the fraternities and sororities are thriving, currently serving over 55 organizations and accounting for approximately 20 percent of the student body.
About 8 minutes from campus, Sorority Row is home to the lives of Greek women. At Texas A&M, most Greek students live in their potential college dormitory for the second year or less before moving into an apartment or house.
The average cost of a new member of a sisterhood in the Texas A&M panhellenic groups is 2,383 per year. Many fraternities take a year to live in the house. These cost an average of 7,650 per year. Permanent members residing abroad pay an average of € 2,008 per year.
Students can choose from over 1,000 clubs and organizations, including nearly 60 fraternities and sororities. About 10% of the students speak Greek. Several students, about 25%, play in the Texas A&M Intramural Sports Championships, one of the largest programs in the country.
Academic qualification. Typically, you have to be a full-time student in a four-year college to join a sisterhood. Some colleges do not allow newcomers to enroll or restrict their participation in sororities. Student unions focus on academics and usually have a grade point average of between 2.5 and 3.0.
