Twists are easy to DIY
If you’ve felt the need to try out a DIY protective style while locking, Spring Twists is probably your best bet. The extensions are pre-twisted and come in the form of elastic curls (hence the name), which mimics the curly, elastic nature of natural hair. You simply blend your natural hair with the extensions, braid together for about an inch, then twist together until the end. Check out YouTube for fun and easy tutorials.

Spring Twists provides styling longevity lasting over three weeks
Due to the natural looking texture and slightly undone appearance of Spring Twists, they actually look more authentic and “live” the longer they are worn. Unlike some styles of protection, the perfect, flawless aesthetic isn’t a requirement here, so you can leave them on for longer. However, be very careful not to neglect your scalp or your cleansing routine as you may end up getting dirt and a lot of product build-up. It will only stop you from reaching your dream hair length goals.
