Spamdexing
A slang term for obfuscating a large number of words or phrases on a web page to increase page views in web searches.
Spamming is a way of sending spam to search engines for the purpose of manipulating page rank on search engine results pages.
Spam includes, but is not limited to:
- Show different content for search engines and people
- keyword spam
- Create unnecessary backlinks
- Mass acquisition of low quality backlinks such as unmaintained web directories,
