Paint the entire cardinal, including the tail, torso and head, pyrrole red. Do it in two coats (wait for the first coat to dry a bit, then paint the second). The red should be very opaque and cover the background well. 5. Add shadows to the cardinal with Mars Black mixed with Pyrrole Red.

Make circles of different sizes all over the floor. Finally, paint snow on the branches and some snowflakes on all the berries. Use a round, titanium white brush for this. To get a shadow on the snow, add a little cyan magenta to the base of the snow and mix.
