Shafqat Mehmood says Pakistan's Health Situation Would Decide the Reopening of Educational Institutions

Pakistan’s health situation would determine the reopening of schools and other educational institutions, said education minister Shafqat Mehmood, in his latest tweet on Saturday.

The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) is set to transpire on January 4, 2021, to review the current pandemic situation and come to a decision that when schools and other educational institutes should be recommence.

Shafqat Mehmood said in a tweet.: “Among other agenda points the most important would be an analysis of the health situation to determine re-opening of educational institutions,”
It had decided earlier in IPEMC that school,colleges and universities remain closed from 26 november and announced that a review meeting would be held in the first week of January

“The IPEMC would again meet on January 4 to review the current situation in the country and make a decision”,Two days earlier shafqat mehmood responding to media queries.

Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani said that after evaluating coronavirus situation,it did not seem possible that educational institute would reopen in January 2021

Ghani had repeated his ministry stance that like the last year,no student would be promoted without talking examination.
