Definition of Severable contract:

  1. The agreement consists of several parts or clauses, so that each part or clause can be executed separately from the others. Violation of one or more parts of the contract is not always a breach of contract. In addition, a judicial revocation of one or more parts of an agreement that can be separated by a court of law (known as a judicial revocation) is not always wrong. See also distribution contract.
