In addition to the information below, enter the SAFE route number (3211173752): For verification, please enter the account number at the end of the check after the route number.
Account Number: This is a 12-digit number that is unique to each member and can be found at the bottom of your checks (see example below). Note that you must include all leading zeros. Call us on 18007638600 or visit your nearest branch for assistance finding this number.
- If no nickname is used, the account numbers and their suffixes are displayed on the Overview tab of the home page under the Account heading (on the balance sheet). The bank account suffix appears at the end, after the account number and the = symbol.
Your account number (usually 1012 digits) is specific to your personal account. This is the second set of numbers printed at the bottom of your checks, just to the right of the bank’s routing number. You will also find your account number on your monthly statement.
ACH stands for Automated Clearing House. To find your ACH route number, consult your checkbook first. This can be the nine-digit number to the left of your account number. ACH is an electronic money transfer system that allows people to receive or send payments through the ACH federal network of US banks.

The suffix of the account you are transferring to. (The one- or two-digit number that appears at the end of the account number in the account list.) If the account you are transferring to is a loan or savings account.

The first set of numbers on the bottom left of a check is the bank’s 9-digit routing number. The second set of numbers, usually 1012 digits, is your account number.
At the bottom of a check mark you will see three groups of numbers. The first group is your route number, the second your account number and the third your verification number.
