OSD timeout. Help !? ۔
I just bought a new monitor and found that it had an OSD timeout. After a while he fell asleep and my keyboard or mouse managed to wake him up. I felt like I could change it in 120 minutes, but I wanted to turn it off. I have checked all the monitor settings but I can't understand them. Help? My monitor is ASUS VS239h.
OSD stands for On Screen Display. This is the menu of your monitor. And the OSD timer is when your monitor's menu appears. It has nothing to do with your problem.
Your problem is your computer's power settings. You didn't say what Windows (7 or 8) is? So I can't give specific instructions. However, you need to change the power options to prevent the PC and monitor from falling asleep. You can never set the value to
Open the control panel. Find power options. Change on battery and plugged values.
