What is Noncurrent Assets?
Long-term assets are long-term investments of a company whose value is not fully realized during the year. Examples of long-term assets include equity interests in other companies, intellectual property (such as patents) and property, plants and equipment. Long-term assets appear on the company's balance sheet.
