What is Noncurrent Assets?

  • Long-term assets are long-term investments of a company whose value is not fully realized during the year. Examples of long-term assets include equity interests in other companies, intellectual property (such as patents) and property, plants and equipment. Long-term assets appear on the company's balance sheet.

    • Long-term assets are also called long-term assets.
    • The cost of property, plants and equipment is divided by the years in which the asset was used.
    • Long-standing assets are presented in the balance sheet as invincible assets or property, plants and equipment and other goods.
