Measure in several places from the ceiling to the top of the panel to make sure it is properly aligned before nailing. Nail through the top ■■■■■■ (the top ■■■■■■ is the longest ■■■■■■). Another nail should go through the bottom of the board, about 1 from the bottom.
MDF skirting board for walls with walls. We used 5-inch (1/2 inch thick) MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) as the shelf material. It is cheaper than wood but really perfect for this type of installation.
Put a nail on the top and bottom of each lath where it crosses a pin. Use glue to glue the board first or have a partner hold it in place. Before installing the next plank, place a few meters length between the bottom plank and the plank above.
Use standard or painted nails (15 or 16 gauge). The fastening length must be long enough for 1 1/41 1/2 penetration into solid wood. Nail through the top ■■■■■■.
Attach the first plank: Secure the bottom plank to the wall with two 2-inch nails in each stud. For a more rustic look, you can restore your nails with 8d nails so that the nail heads remain visible. Use finishing nails for a consistent look. Finishing the look: If you used finishing nails, fill in the nail holes with a putty knife.

Follow the correct order of operation
If not installed correctly, the fold can bend or rot. This is especially true if it is installed in a bathroom or basement where moisture can penetrate.
In front of the Paris plywood and plaster, the builders boarded the pieces to keep them warm and dry, then covered them with a layer of muslin or gauze and wallpaper to hide the ship’s seams. (That is, if you’re lucky, you might discover some original, time-tested details under the layers during a remodel.)

It is not necessary to cover the plaster if there is no plaster. However, if you are only renovating a room, you can definitely put a roof on the existing drywall. Both options are relatively simple, but they require a few different precautions, the main one being to find the hints.
When laying the panels on plaster, start with the barges on the finished roofs. If you are installing tongue and groove panels on plaster (or especially plaster), it is a good idea to install 1 × 2 containers and attach 2 1/2 inches directly to the frame. Screws.
