Definition of Mathematical logic:

  1. The mathematics section deals with formal language learning, formal thinking, types of math tests, proof of math statements, arithmetic and other aspects of basic math.

  2. A series of mathematical subjects (such as Boolean algebra, predictive calculus and prepositional calculus) that reduce regular logical rules to algebraic laws. Its main purpose is to eliminate the confusion created by the use of natural language. This symbolic logic is derived from the work of two German mathematicians, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (16461716) and Friedrich Ludwig Gottlob Fries (1848-1925). A team of British mathematicians and philosophers, led by Alfred North Whitehead (18611 947) and Bertrand Arthur William Russell (1872-1970), furthered this in their 1910 book Principia Mathematica. It is also called symbolic logic.
