Most of the time an accident turns a person’s life completely. Some lose their career some lose their business etc. Mark Hamill’s car accident also affected his life badly. He was an actor but at that time he was an unknown actor. After some years of his accident, he got brilliant fame when his film released. **Mark Hamill’s car accident** On January 11, 1977, Mark Hamill got into an accident. His accident is like a complete mystery till now. Hamill’s accident occurred at the end of his filming Episode IV for star wars. After Episode IV he got this accident. In the next scenes of episode V, wampa attacked skywalker. Some fans said this scene was written to add his changed face in the next episode. But according to some people, this scene was to just create some suspense in the story. But, the right person to answer this question was Leigh Brackett who was the writer of this scene. Mark Hamill never wanted to talk about his accident. Most of the time he avoided discussing his accident. This is why his accidental story remained a mystery and there are no clear shreds of evidence about most of the things that reached us. **How his accident occurs:** He was going about 65-70 mph in his BMW. He was going too fast according to Hamill what he tried to negotiate an off-ramp he lost his control. He tumbled over and went off to the road. He said: “I just woke up, and I was in the hospital, and I knew that I had hurt myself very, very badly. And then someone held a mirror up to my face, and I just felt that my career was over” **Effect of the accident on his body.** This accident damaged his whole body. But his nose and cheeks were affected badly. His nose and cheeks were fractured. To rebuild his nose surgeons used cartilage from his ear. It caused more damages to his body. It had changed Mark’s face.
