SMALL LOADS: Small loads can also cause the wash cycle to stop suddenly as the laundry does not iron against the sensors on the front of the drum. If the device does not detect the load, the cycle time drops sharply to 1520 minutes, then 6 minutes and then stops.
Dryer: starts and stops. If an electric dryer starts but stops before the load is dry, a clogged drain valve may have caused the dryer to overheat and melt the thermal fuse. A faulty drive motor, faulty timer, or faulty electronic control board can also stop the dryer before the cycle is complete.
You can reset the machine by pulling out the dryer or by switching it off. While the dryer is not receiving power, press and hold the Start / Pause button for five seconds to reset. Then turn the device back on and check if the code persists. In this case, LG recommends a repair service.
A blown fuse will cause the dryer to stop mid-cycle. If you notice that the dryer stops almost immediately when you turn it on, the problem is usually with the dryer. If the air flow is blocked by lint and dirt, the dryer can overheat and cause a fire.
LG dryer takes too long. If the ventilation opening is blocked or partially blocked, the air flow through the dryer will be limited and the drying time will be dramatically increased. To ensure the correct dryer, the dryer ventilation system must be cleaned at least once a year.
A dryer that shuts down mid-cycle could mean you have a faulty motor. A faulty motor usually means it is warming up a lot more than normal and is overloaded. If the engine overheats, it usually stops cooling, which can cause the dryer to stop.
If a dryer stops repeatedly during a normal drying cycle, it is usually because the dryer has overheated. If too much heat builds up in the dryer, lint or dirt can catch fire in the dryer drain line and ignite the dryer. The overheat shutdown is the dryer last attempt to prevent a fire.
Older devices tend to have a burning smell when overheated. This is usually caused when a heating element is short-circuited and does not turn off or regulate the temperature. Another common sign of an overheated dryer is that the top of the device is extremely hot.
The cycle may have stopped due to a power failure. SMALL LOADS: Small loads can also cause the cycle to suddenly end as the clothing will not rub against the sensors on the front of the drum.
Tumble dryer vent hose is clogged with lint. Clean the VENTILATION HOSE of the dryer every year! This is why the dryer takes forever to dry AND it could be a fire hazard! Sometimes the dryer can overheat, which can temporarily prevent the motor that spins the drum from running.
Your Samsung dryer may have a faulty thermostat, thermal fuse, clogged vent cable, faulty voltage, faulty heating element, or other problems with the inner cable. NOTE: If your Samsung dryer receives an error code, you can find the Samsung dryer error codes here.
The PAU or pause error usually means that the washing cycle of the washing machine has been paused and has not been restarted. If the washing machine is stopped and not restarted during the cycle, the cycle must be suspended or finished before a new selection can be made.
The main cause of the thermal fuse melting is limited air flow. Check the drain path to the drain hose outlet for excessive lint or debris. Check the impeller to make sure it is not damaged or blocked. This can be done in cooling or ventilation mode.
about 10 minutes
Lint can get caught in the drain hose, drum, lint catcher, and even the drum case. If it’s too hot, it can sting or even burn and create a burning smell. Frequently empty the lint filter and make sure that no lint accumulates in the outlet valve.

@stevetheman LG washes the error code CL Fix. CL means that the washing machines are turned on with CHILD LOCK. To activate the CHILD LOCK on the LG washing machine, press and hold the CHILD LOCK button for 3-5 seconds. The washing machine should now have CHILD LOCK MODE ENABLED and all buttons except the POWER button will not work.
