StraighterLine itself is not a university. Only colleges and universities are accredited. Students take individual online courses via the StraighterLine and then transfer them directly to the accredited university at which they are planning to graduate. All StraighterLine courses have been approved by ACE CREDIT.

My problem is that Straighterline is NOT a university, it is positioned as a university for consumers. In fact, most old textbook companies like McGraw Hill now write online courses and rent them out to colleges for use. Straighterline is NOT a college and is NOT accredited, so it cannot issue credits.
