- Snap and Lily are friends because they are Guarts, and he loves them the most, but when Snap enters the Dark Arts and leaves with Valdiators, they fall apart. Snap never stopped loving Lily. So James had a deer model because he was one, Harry had a doe because of his father, and Snape had a dove with Lily. Lily and Snape haven’t been friends for years, the fifth year in the Mudblood of Guards, as he calls them. Snap can’t be his. He also talks a lot to Harry in the book and looks like James.
