Is Mayo Dairy
Is mayonnaise considered a dairy product? 3
I was recently diagnosed with an allergy to milk and wheat ... Is mayonnaise safe or should I avoid it? I asked why I wanted to go for lunch and tuna salad.
Maybe it's just me, but I've always insisted that eggs fall into the dairy category. (?) Hmmm.
Yet. Most mayonnaise is made from oil and eggs, so by my personal definition, mayonnaise is made from dairy products. I've got mayonnaise that doesn't use eggs but most likely you don't go anywhere for lunch. Check the prescription to make sure.
Mayo has eggs but no milk.
Enjoy your tuna salad.
Mayonnaise is not a dairy product, it comes from eggs and oil, but you want to make sure it is the real mayonnaise in the tuna salad and that the sauce is not mixed with milk.
It contains eggs, oil, acid and sometimes musk and the like. But always check the label whenever it has anything to do with wheat. Cheap mayonnaise often has alternatives to get the most out of it.
