Step 1. Click on the Start menu or the Windows button at the bottom left.
Step 2. Click on Control Panel followed by ‘System and Security’ option.
Step 3. Click on ‘Administrative Tools’ and then double click on ‘Defragment and Optimize Drives’ option.
Step 4. Click on Analyze Disk and then Defragment Disk after selecting the partition.
Configure Automatic Schedule: Click on the ‘Configure Schedule…’ button under schedules and setup frequency, date, time and schedule to defrag the hard drive.
