| Regular cleaning with a sponge or soft brush will keep the surface clean without unnecessary wear and tear that could damage the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals and instead mix 2 grams of mild, biodegradable liquid soap into 1 liter of warm water for cleaning.
Prepare a cleaning solution with 1/4 cup (2 oz) of mild liquid soap in one liter of warm water (no more than 38 ° C). Use a sponge or soft brush to clean the fabric with the solution. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
You start by sanding the damaged paint. Apply to bare metal, then apply a metal primer, allow to dry completely, then apply a rust resistant metallic paint. Apply with a car wax such as aluminum as this will help remove moisture from the surface easily.
Mix ¼ cup of dishwashing liquid / dish soap in a bucket with 1 liter of warm (not hot!) Water. Mix the water so that the soap melts and foams. Step 3: Dip the soft brush into the soapy water and scrub the pool furniture strip from top to bottom.
Use a mixture of mild soap or dish soap and water to clean vinyl or Brown Jordan fabric furniture. Gently apply the solution with a clean cloth, then rinse thoroughly with water.
Remove mold from patios and patio furniture by mixing them with a solution of 1 cup of ammonia, 1/2 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of baking soda in 3.7 liters of water. Keep an old toothbrush handy to work the solution into corners and other tight spaces.
Mold and mildew stains
Mix equal parts of hot water and white vinegar in a bucket (see Bibliography 4, page 182). Dip a scrub brush into the liquid and scrub the furniture vigorously to remove algae. Use a hairbrush on hard plastic furniture.
Fill a clean spray bottle with undiluted white wine vinegar and spray it on the front and back of the pillow. Let the vinegar sit on the pillows for 10 minutes.
Cleaning the external Textilene® cover
Mix 2 liters of warm water and about 1/2 dl of liquid detergent (without bleach) in a bucket. Moisten and scrub the canvas. Dampen a clean sponge in the bucket and wipe it on the canvas. First, scrub the seams and the dirtiest areas with a scrub brush.
Cleaning plastic chairs:
- Spray the furniture thoroughly with a garden hose equipped with a spray nozzle.
- Pour 1/4 cup of dish soap into a bucket and add 1 liter of warm water.
- Dip the soft brush into the soapy water and scrub the garden furniture one at a time.
