## Converting Liters to Ounces

A liter is a metric volume unit. A liter is equal to the volume of a cube with a side length of 10 cm. There are about 3,785 liters in a US gallon.

One fluid ounce is equivalent to one-twentieth of a gallon. It differs from the ounce of weight and the Imperial fluid ounce.
