Hot Water Pressure Low But Cold Fine
Cold water pressure on cane taps is low, but is it OK?
But a week ago, the cold water pressure on my cane tap was almost gone. The flow is very slow at the moment. nice te cool t and all other used faucets are also good. Cane faucet is a mixer type (tap and cold handle). My first step is the cartridge st. The assembly holding the faucet handle in place is broken and I cannot remove the handle to access the cartridge. Well, now my repairs are getting expensive and I've completely replaced the faucet ... I still have the same problem! My use is relatively new as it was made in 2006 and I have a Pax tube. I am connected to the city's water supply and I am not at the well. I don't think there is a problem with lime scale or rust on the pipes, because the packs are made of plastic. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem? The only thing I can think of is that the pipe under my cane kitchen sink is full. Does anyone understand this or has anyone heard of this topic? Should I clean the tube if it is full? I don't want to disassemble the tube and replace it if I can. Any help is greatly appreciated.
For your health,
Kiran
updateJust to clarify ... I changed the whole tap. Cold water still does what the last faucet does ... very little pressure and very little flow from the water. I tried to turn off the cold water under the sink (on the shut off valve under the sink) and let it go into the bucket. Even now the pressure is low. I can stop the flow with my thumb on the tip of the hose. Whenever I plugged in the outlet, I tried to run cold water in the faucet and tap the drain. Nothing has helped yet. If I don't get these things in the next few days, I should probably look for a plumber ... Does anyone know a plumber who is well trained for Markham (North Toronto)? I'm thinking of cutting the water line (of course after the main is off) and turning on the compressor again, but I'm not sure ... I don't want to be Darwin's candidate! Any ideas or tricks for the first question
