Green Peppercorns Vs Capers
Are capers and green peppers the same? ۔
We wanted to make a big green chili sauce for our steaks, but we couldn't find any green peppers! Are the keepers the same?
Capers are decorative flower buds (Capers espinosa). Green pepper, you are all the fruit of the pepper plant (piper plant). Pepper is a dried, ripe berry. That's all there is to pepper, but without the outside. They taste mild. Green peppers are green berries that are frozen or preserved in salt water.
If the prescription requires a special green pepper pickle, keepers are a reasonable alternative (for y flavored, brewed and similar textures). I really think you want dried green peppers with a texture and taste profile similar to peppers. When in doubt, replace pepper with pepper. Most pepper recipes are practically interchangeable.
