## Should You Attend Full Sail or LA Film?

[Aspiring](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/aspiration-precautions/115030) filmmakers learn as much [outside](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/outside-workouts/182613) formal [educational](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/education-level/111178) settings. If you’re [worried](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/how-to-stop-worrying-about-things-you-can-t-control/135957) about finding work after college, it’s smart to major in something somewhat [common](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/find-the-least-common-denominator/117009). However, a ["for-profi](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/for-profit-schools/189171)t" school like Full Sail is not where you should invest your time and money.

Whatever your feelings about [Obama](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/michelle-obama-net-worth/171283), there’s no denying that the former [president](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/oldest-president-elected/184882) had good cause to crack down on the for-profit [sector](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/public-sector-vs-private-sector/184504). Furthermore, a “[settlement](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/debt-settlement/121032)”, including [Trump’s](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/trump-card-game/161455) “school”, was necessary for him to reach. Recent [opinions](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/opinion-quotes/99687) about Full Sail that I happened to come [across](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/across-five-aprils/103537) were interesting.

## Full Sail Principals Acquire LA Media School Property

Two Los [Angeles](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/catholic-angels/143377) media schools, partially [operated](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/define-operation/173591) by Full Sail Real World Education in [Winter Park](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/winter-activities-for-kids/120965), are buying a six-story [facility](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/local-courier-facility/30320) on Sunset [Boulevard](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/bluebird-vs-blue-jay/66992). The extension will increase the Film School and Recording School to 230,000 [square feet](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/how-to-find-square-feet/40218). Full Sail co-owners [Edward](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/edward-butera/68567) Haddock, Bill Heavener, and Jonathan Phelps formed a commercial [partnership](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/types-of-partnership/110212) with Diana Derycz-[Kessler](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/helen-keller-jokes/63349) and Paul Kessler in 2003.

Full Sail began in 1979 in [Winter Park](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/winter-activities-for-kids/120965) with 5,000 students. The six-story building was once a Mercedes-Benz regional [headquarters](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/amazon-nashville-headquarters/127120) and showroom and now houses Klasky-Csupo, a computer [animation](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/animism-psychology/103605) business known for “The [Simpsons](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/what-have-the-simpsons-predicted/143837)” and “Rugrats.” The ACCT and ACCET nationally [accredit](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/is-southern-new-hampshire-university-aacsb-accredited/85810) Los Angeles [Film School](https://howtodiscuss.com/t/film-schools-in-california/110172) and Los Angeles Recording School.
