Forward Price-To-Earnings (Forward P/E),
What is Forward Price-To-Earnings (Forward P/E)?
Future Value (Future P / E) is a version of the Earnings Ratio (P / E) that uses projected earnings to calculate P / E. However, the revenue used in this formula is only an estimate and cannot be. Because the analysis of P / E estimates is as reliable as current or historical earnings data.
- Advance P / E is a price of the mini version that uses the expected profit to calculate the profit.
- Because future P / E ratios use earnings from estimates (EPS) earnings, incorrect or distorted results can occur if actual earnings are different.
- Analysts often combine forward and backward P / E estimates to make better decisions.
