Cat Stevens’ religious conversion
Cat Stevens died not long ago, and many people wonder if he became a Muslim. It is a hard question to answer because some sources say he did convert, while others say this is not true. We know that Yusuf Islam became a Muslim in 1977 and changed his name to reflect his new religion. It’s unclear whether he ever stopped being a Muslim again or not.
