Drawing Standards

Australian Standards for Technical Drawings. These standards, the Australian Standard AS 1100, are a set of parts describing the conventions to be followed by Australian engineers, designers, architects and related professionals such as builders and plumbers. AS 1100 contains general principles for technical drawing, including dimensions, line types and layouts used, scales, symbols, abbreviations and their meaning. It also includes technical drawings with information on surface finishes, welds, center holes, gears, etc.
