Generally I would NOT recommend taking a course to go from a B to an A. Also, a resumption of studies after graduation is not positive.
A couple of C’s won’t shoot you, no. It just means that the rest of your app should get high ratings, a good GRE score, and a good experience. FWIW, many programs also look at the GPA path, not just cumulatively.
