Dilemma

Dilemma,

Definition of Dilemma:

  1. A situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones.

  2. Forced choice between two (or more) courses of action which are equally disfavored or favored. For example, a choice between debt (which has to be paid back with interest and on schedule, but which generally does not affect owners control of the business) and equity (which does not have to be paid back but may result in dilution or loss of control to outsiders).
