DIFFERENT SLEEVE FASHION STYLES FOR WOMEN
The First thing you see in clothes are sleeves. These are an important part of women’s attire. They must be properly fit and easy in wearing. There are almost 40-45 different sleeve styles for women because their fashion deviates with time. One minute a specific sleeve can be in fashion but in the other minute, the fashion completely goes out of fashion. Draped sleeve
At top of the sleeves, further saturation is given but a portion of the armpit remains equipped. At top of the sleeves, drape-like folds are created by elastic and are stretchable from the top. Balloon sleeve
This is the type of sleeve which is sewed to look like a balloon. It is a very full shirt sleeve.
Hanging sleeve
This is the type of sleeve which is open towards down and drifts towards the hand.
This is the type of sleeve in which there is a patch on the side of the wenis. This is done to guard the attire from depreciation.
Slashed sleeve
This type of sleeve has a slit on it disclosing other fiber below, usually of a different color. Banded sleeve

In this type, a two-piece sleeve folds towards both sides to give them shape. this is also done in suit sleeve.
Off-shoulder sleeve
In the sleeves, the cutting is done in such a way that sleeves are not on the shoulder but only at the elbow side.

This type of sleeve is very old about 100 years ago, antiquated. It is filled and cushioned like a bad.

Cap sleeve
This type of sleeve canopies the upper part of an arm and is also called a short sleeve. This sleeve is in such a way that the shoulder fiber is slightly upward and slightly extending towards the arm.
Extended cap sleeve
In this type of sleeve, there is a small enlargement from the shoulder.
Bracelet sleeve
This type of sleeve has a range between wenis and carpus. The idea of this sleeve is only that the bracelet must be seen and it should be four inches from the elbow.
Lantern sleeve
A Lantern sleeve is a broad sleeve having two segments. The upper part of the sleeve radiates from the sleeve front to the carpus. The bottom part radiated from the carpus to the upper part. These two parts are connected by a fold that continues its shape.
In this type long and short both types of sleeves can be made.

Leg of mutton sleeves
This type of sleeve gives the shape of the leg of mutton. It is a combined sleeve head that fits towards the carpus.
Juliet sleeve
This type of sleeve is the same as the leg of the mutton sleeve.
The difference between them is that it has two parts. The upper part of the sleeve head is full and then combined to a fit part on the lower side.
Bell sleeve
This type of sleeve gives a bell shape. It has a flare that gives them a shape. There are 6 types of bell sleeves.

This type of sleeve is the smaller version of a bell sleeve and most of the time these are shorter than wenis. These are also called capelet sleeves. - Frill sleeve/ flute sleeve
This type of sleeve fits towards the wenis and from there, a frill starts that gives the shape of an umbrella. - Pagoda sleeve
This type of sleeve fits from the upper side of the sleeve and on the lower side there are usually three ridged frills are attached. - Bishop sleeve

In this type, the sleeves are attached to the upper part of the dress. It is also called a one-piece sleeve. Both of the upper parts and sleeves are cut as one and there will be no folds between them.

In this type, the sleeve has an armhole and the shape of this sleeve is mad additional large.
Petal/tulip sleeve
This type of sleeve is combined at the two points which are crossing each other. In this style, there will be no armpit in the folding. The shape of these sleeves is just like tulip and the petals. These types of sleeves are often short.

This type of sleeve has many divisions often 5. This sleeve is full and large. The 5 parts combine each other by crisscrossing and are fit towards the arm. This sleeve style is very old almost 100 years ago.

This type of sleeve is just combined with the upper part of the dress i.e. bodice and then it expands towards the carpus.
Over sleeve
This type of sleeve has two parts one is present at the upper side of the sleeve and the other is present under the upper side of the sleeve i.e. layering effect.
Gibson girl sleeve
This type of sleeve is enlarged at the scapula to the wenis and then very tight towards the carpus
Poet sleeve
In this type of sleeve, there is a tussle at the edge of the sleeve and is enlarged from the scapula.
