  1. Assistance and support provided by a business to its customers, especially in the event of customer dissatisfaction, or a (technical) fault with a product; (also) the department of a business which provides this.

  2. Support for a business, venture, etc., from its customers.

  3. Range of services provided to assist customers in making cost effective and correct use of a product. It includes assistance in planning, installation, training, trouble shooting, maintenance, upgrading, and disposal of the product.
