Definition of CMYK color model:
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK. Printing industry term for colors used in four-color process printing. Employed in almost all multicolor printing jobs (offset, inkjet, laser, etc.), these are subtractive colors they absorb certain wavelengths (from the white light reflected off the page) to create illusion of a color. In contrast, RGB colors (used for television and computer screens) are additive colors.
