BISE Lahore announces scholarships to meritorious students

Scholarship
Lahore board of intermediate and secondary education has announced the scholarships for the students of the intermediate. The candidates who cleared the HSSC board exams are only eligible to apply for the scholarships. According to the board officials, the national talent scholarships will be awarded to the students so that they can avail the benefits. The Board announces these scholarships annually for the standard development of the education. This initiative has been taken by the board to facilitate the potential students.
Merit For Scholarships
In intermediate exams, the students appeared in the various study groups. The selection of the students of each group depends upon the criteria devised by the board authorities. The merit for the intermediate students is mentioned below.
• The merit for the pre-medical group is 1058
• The merit for the pre-engineering group is 1044
• The merit for the general science is 944
• The merit for the arts group is 960
• The merit of other study groups of the intermediate is 903
The selection of the candidates will be purely based on merit and the after determining the eligibility of the applicants the officials will grant the scholarships.

The education ministry has confirmed that the examination session of the matric class (9th and 10th) will take place under the traditional schedule. According to the source, the Matric class examination will be started on March 6th, 2021. The complete details of the National Talent scholarship have not been announced yet.
