Increase your intake of vitamin A, which helps maintain healthy skin, with foods such as milk, fish, eggs and carrots. Avoid taking vitamin A supplements, as too many have been shown to cause birth defects, and instead focus on getting enough vitamin A from your diet (healthy!).
